 HOW-TO
TIPS & TRICKS
For most of our new members, building ships like these is a completely new experience. While few captains scratch-build their first ships (although there have been some), even starting with a used or half-built ship will involve some construction and/or installation of components. The links below contain articles and references that may prove helpful in better understanding the workings of these ships. And since an "unmentioned" motto of our club is there always more than one way to build it, there may be more than one article describing some of the components.

NEWSLETTER ARCHIVES
FLEET OPS 144
The new Southeast Attack Squadron (SAS) newsletter.
ISSUE 1: Fall 2017
TASK FORCE 144
The newsletter of the Model Warship Combat (MWC) club. Another "fast gun" group building and battling 1:144 scale model warships (even their construction and battling rules were nearly identical to the IRCWCC). Archived here so more can enjoy the great battle stories, tech tips (and more!) and hopefully see what a fun hobby Radio-Controlled Model Warship Combat is.

HULL BUSTERS
The original newsletter of the first model warship combat club, IRCWCC. Scanned images are posted here by special permision of the editor, founding member "DW" Fluegel (many thanks, Fluegel). While some of the information here is dated (much of the early articles are posted for nostalgic sake and not current DIY information), there is still a lot of valuable information about our hobby, some of the technology, and of course the nutty humor of guys who play with model ships! So here they are (more coming):
